Hardy got to see some amazing bands—Taz, Billy Strings, Break Science, EOTO, G Love and Special Sauce, Greensky Bluegrass, Holly Woods, Karina Rykman, Lettuce, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, Ripe, Tauk, The Heavy Pets, The Motet, and Tom Morello, who had an amazing set at the amphitheater stage Friday night. Hardy would love to see more artists express their political opinions. He feels that everyone needs to watch this amazing set (at https://youtu.be/smBwO5JwAUw) and support more artists who speak up about what is going on in the world today. Too many folks who are under-informed speak their voices and create …. —while those who should be promoting the actual facts are not heard. Hardy is looking forward to returning for another amazing Hulaween in 2020.
Hardy had an amazing Halloween adventure the weekend before Halloween. For the sixth year in a row, he headed down to Live Oak Spirit of Suwannee to Hulaween, a music festival featuring The String Cheese Incident and a lots of amazing art down in Florida. The music was just what Hardy needed with the amazing weather and great Hulaween family. He got to see multiple sets of String Cheese Incident, including seeing the band decked out in amazing costumes as they covered everything from the ’90s decade, from grunge kings Nirvana and Pearl Jam, jam giants Phish, to hip-hop superstars Tupac Shakur and Fresh Prince/Will Smith, and some Hardy doesn’t remember from so long ago. The costumed dancers were amazing as well.
